SYNOPSIS

The short documentary follows a single day in the life of Jadwiga L., a working-class woman in 1960s Poland. Over the course of 24 hours, she moves between a night shift at a factory and her responsibilities at home—caring for her children, shopping, cooking, and maintaining the household. With little rest and no narration guiding interpretation, the film quietly reveals the exhausting “double burden” of wage labor and domestic work, inviting viewers to reflect on the monotony, strain, and emotional weight of her everyday routine.
