HER Docs Film Festival

HER Docs Film Festival is a Warsaw-based festival dedicated to non-fiction cinema by women, spanning documentary and experimental film, video art, and animation. The festival presents original, boundary-pushing work that explores the world with sensitivity and attention to the challenges of our time. Representation and diverse perspectives are at the heart of the program, with a particular focus on women’s and girls’ experiences, minority voices, and stories shaped by different identities, cultures, and sexualities. HER Docs also creates space for emerging filmmakers, including debuting artists, students, and film and art school graduates, offering opportunities to present their work, meet audiences, and connect with established creators. Screenings are accompanied by workshops, discussions, filmmaker meetings, and performance events, creating space for dialogue around issues such as women’s rights, civic engagement, climate, sex education, inclusivity, and intercultural solidarity.
